Hello. Post#24.

I have been very busy this Spring.  Thank you for checking in on my blog.  Lord willing, I will continue to put up more posts.  Work, cat fishing,  yard work, and gardening, my Dad's place, and home projects have been keeping me tied up.  Toss in some laziness and tiredness.  When I learn how to get the photos off my phone to the computer I'll have some interesting stuff.

  1. Daryl, I know you have been busy, I have been too. As a young man, maybe not even wise enough to live his own life, I have a few things to share with you. The first thing, don't make a living make a life, relax and enjoy a little laziness. The second is don't feel obligated to dedicate your short life to pleasing a higher being, if he cannot accept you as you are, then I personally wouldn't want his grace. I don't recommend maxing your credit cards and going on a drinking binge or partying and not being responsible. I do recommend you loosen up and quit worrying about the here after. Enjoy your wife, enjoy your children, and most of all make sure your grandchildren remember you. I know that our days are coming to and end, but keep in touch and I will do the same.

  2. Thanks for the comment Special Ed. None of us are wise enough to live our own lives. That is why we need to walk hand in hand, moment by moment, with our Creator God, The Lord Jesus Christ. I don't do the best job of it but I know it is what I need to do. All men can and would be better off if they would. In the future, on the New Earth, God will live with men and walk physically eternally among us, Revelation 21:3.
The only way our days could 'come to an end' is if one of us doesn't know Jesus.
I do appreciate your advice. I can be very intense. But Jesus said in John 17:3, "And this is eternal life, that they may know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou hast sent." And the prophet Hosea said, "So let us know, let us press on to know the Lord. His going forth is as certain as the dawn, and He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain watering the earth."
My blessing to you, my son. May God so mightily reveal Himself to you you can't contain it!
